American entertainer Lauren Christine German was born on November 29, 1978. Her most notable performance was in the poignant drama A Walk to Remember in 2002, which was followed by roles in the thrillers The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) and Hostel: Part II (2007). German featured as DHS specialist Lori Weston in the second season of the CBS police drama Hawaii Five-0 from 2011 to 2012, and from 2012 to 2015 in the NBC drama Chicago Fire as Leslie Shay.

Shay was killed off in season 3 of Chicago Fire. The actress moved on to a series of primary roles on Lucifer. From 2016-2021, she appeared as detective Chloe Decker in the American fantasy comedy-drama Lucifer.

Where Is Lauren German Now In 2022?

German joined the main cast of the Fox dream parody series Lucifer in 2015 and was cast as Detective Chloe Decker. She portrayed the lead female role of an LAPD murder criminal investigator who is astonished and enthralled by Lucifer Morningstar, a character played by Tom Ellis who moved to Los Angeles because he was tired of his "career" as the Lord of Hell. The series was completed in 2021.
